Text Books On Vedic Astrology

It is very nice to know that nowadays everyone wants to learn phalit jyotish. Nowadays there are so many institutes too where it has been taught. But in my opinion the student only gets elementary knowledge there. An astrologer learns phalit jyotish from Guru anukampa and from his hard work.

There are so many modern books in market and I found them misleading as they are written to put readers in a web of puzzle so that they can not get the reality.

But in ancient Vedic Jyotish there are several books as they are written in Sanskrit and in their translation the translator / commentators have done some error while translating them from Sanskrit to Hind or from Sanskrit to English.

I am mentioning some useful ancient books on phalit jyotish:

(1) Brihit Jataka & (2) Phala Deepika, (3) Bhavartha Ratnakara: Useful for beginners

(1) Jataka Paarijata, (2) Hora Ratna, (3) Hora Saara  (4) Tajik Neelkanthi, (4) Bhuvan Deepak & (5) Sanket Nidhi: Useful for those already attained some knowledge on phalit jyotish.

(1) Brihit Parashara Hora Shaastra, & (2) Prashan Marg: Useful for researchers of Vedic astrology and spiritual approach and mantrajapa are required to understand these books.

(1) Veda, (2) Upnishada, (3) Ramyana, (4) Mahabharata, (5) Purana & (6) Yogadarshana: Useful to add new horizons to Vedic astrology and here only mantrajapa, spiritual approach with tapa work. These can be understood by those astrologers who have developed intelligence to relate purva karma with the planets in one’s horoscope.
